Sarita has been concentrating in her art practice, exploring form and formlessness... stone, seed, leaf, stem, animate and inanimate, stillness and movement, core, atom, nucleus, universe, birth, decay, form her visual imagery.
Monochromatic in nature, her art works are primarily meditations on self and the environment she lives in, the inter-inter-connctedness of human body with the Universe, a look at the landscape, and the repetitive act defines and re-define it. Her inter-disciplinary art practice is primarily drawing based exploring lines and forms through thread work-stitching and embroidery, photography, videos, installations and collaborations.
In 2019 she did one month residency at WAA, Mumbai where she displayed her recent textile based drawings. She was part of Artists and Poets residency in Uzbekistan in 2019.
